Is it possible from the EFI shell without the installation cd?
Is possible in the EFI shell make the tape driver viewable?
Now I can only see 2 Scsi disks and the DVD.
Or is only possible to boot tape by entering first with the hpux installation CD ?
Thanks to all

Re: Boot tape for recovery on ITANIUM
To show devices:
map -r
Then to boot the tape do:
fsn:\install.efi
where fsn is the device to boot from.

Re: Boot tape for recovery on ITANIUM
I only know the procedure using the install media, so there seems to be no chance to restore without the installation cd/dvd.
IMHO EFI is not able to handle a tape.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
