Re: booting vpar (Itanium superdome) from ignite server from network
what symptoms do you get?
Will the vpar boot up to the Ignite menu screens, but not then go and install from the Ignite server?
If so, you have selected a network card that may not have physical connection to the network.
Check the card and cables you are using, possibly use linkloop from a running vpar to the card you wish to use to verify this

Re: booting vpar (Itanium superdome) from ignite server from network
Shalom,
Analyze network traffic and processes on the target server.
If nothing shows up on tcpdump/ethereal and no new processes get fired up then its a networking issue.
If there are signs of change its a server configuration issue. In this case look at /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log for more details.
