bootpd [1880] error
I keep getting this error in my syslog.log file.
bootpd[1880]: Option 43: Client specified unacceptable option length (114 octets)
Does any one know why this is happening?
I have searched the forums and either I missed it or I am not looking in the right place.
Any Help would be greatly appreciated!!

Re: bootpd [1880] error
Is it an Ignite boot?
If its not Ignite/UX it may simply be an incompatible client.

Re: bootpd [1880] error
The only thing I can think of is that I recently implemeted CIFS and SUDO. Is there any way of tracking what is generating the error? I am not sure where to start, but I do know that it is not Ignite/UX because I am not using it.

Re: bootpd [1880] error
I checked this link out and things are much clearer now! Unfortunately I cannot set up the bootd in debug mode until Monday morning. Hopefully it will tell me what I need to know.
If any one can thing of any thing else I can do please let me know!
Thanks,
Tim
