savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere: Executable files no

Hi Unix Gurus,
I get this error messages on my server.What does the cause of this error?The Error detail are below :
Oct 30 16:05:33 myhost sendmail[10847]: QAA10847: Losing qfQAA10847: savemail panic
Oct 30 16:05:33 idrkerp1 sendmail[10847]: QAA10847: SYSERR(root): savemail: cannot save rejected email anywhere: Executable files no

What version of sendmail you are running ? Check whether PHNE_30224 is applied to your server.

bdf /var

There needs to be some space there in /var/spool for mail to process properly.

It would be very useful to know your sendmail version.

swlist -l product | grep -i sendmail

swlist -l fileset | grep -i sendmail

Hi,

As SEP said , this problem could occure if there is no space in /var .

Secondly if space in /var is not a concern ( which I feel may not be a issue ) , then there is problem of permissions writing in the respective user mailboxes and dead.letter file.

The root cause of this problem is I change /tmp permission to 755 ...
