Re: bootpquery: Bootp servers not responding!
# bootpquery
1. Do you have an entry in /etc/bootptab for this MAC address?
2. 'bootp' (UDP) requests do not cross LAN subnets. Are client / server on the same subnet?
There is also an Ignite white paper that could help you: http://www.docs.hp.com/en/5992-0598/5992-0598.pdf

Re: bootpquery: Bootp servers not responding!
This problem has been resolved now,
Solution:
Removed bootps entry from inetd.conf file and manually started bootpd daemon with bootpd -s -d 3 command and restrated inetd.
I can able to get response for bootpquery.
Thanks Awadesh and Scot for spending time to resolve my issue.
regards,
Devendar
