Re: bootsys errors

Hi,

If you are using a rp8400 server with a A7109A core IO Card, read on,

http://www1.itrc.hp.com/service/cki/docDisplay.do?docLocale=en_US&docId=200000079991929

The ITRC doc id is KBRC00014674.

Hope this helps.

Re: bootsys errors

Hi sanjay, Ignite Server is rp3440 & the client is N-4000-36.

Will that Work?

Re: bootsys errors

Best guess is that you are not using the built-in LAN card.
If it ain't broke, I can fix that.

HI Clay,

But how do I make sure that I am using the built-in lan interface. Find below ioscan output & am using lan5 NIC.

Re: bootsys errors

Hi,

Looks like the Ethernet port @ 0/0/0/0 is the built-in port that you should be using.

Take a look at page 113 of this PDF.

http://docs.hp.com/en/3687/rp7400_customer_hardwaremanual.pdf

Hope this helps.

Re: bootsys errors

Hi,

Looks like a network congetion...

Could you check the syslog in the IUX server, also do a ping to the IUX server and check if there is any packet loss.

Regards,

Siva.

Re: bootsys errors

Also do a netstat in the server and check for any errors ( tcp/udp )
