Broken pipe problem
Dear all,
I have a rp8420 server running hpux11v1. An application is having some communicatio problem with another server saying "Broken pipe error". The error message is shown bellow: Can u help to solve it?
BCKGEN [2006/05/03 12:08:41:138] [-1]: Cannot write < 1 > bytes to terminal, errno < 32 >!

Shalom,
It would appear that communications is interupted between the system and a terminal.
This could be a user disconnecting or a poorly written script or program that is using terminal communication.
It needs to be investigated which of these causes is the problem.
See log files for help:

System logs
/var/adm/syslog/syslog.log
