Re: Btlan6 error
Perhaps the port on your switch has been reset. Check with your network people.
You may need to fix this from your console.
To reset your card to 100 full duplex, use this example, for lan card 0. Make note that it is quite unusual to have a lan card running as half duplex.
# lanadmin -X 100FD 0

Re: Btlan6 error
Make sure they are similar so that the collisions are reduced.

Re: Btlan6 error
1) someone forced the NIC to HD with lanadmin. unless the other end of the cable is forced into the _same_ setting there will be problems.
2) the NIC was in autoneg mode and nagotiated HD with the remote
3) the NIC was in autoneg and the remote link partner (ie switch port) was not - this causes autoneg to "fail" as per the spec and again as per the spec autoneg failure is supposed to result in half-duplex operation.
3a) the NIC was connected to a _hub_ - _hubs_ do not autoneg and so a NIC connected to a hub will be in HD mode
for a link operating in half-duplex mode, an indication that it is in a duplex-mismatch situation with the other end would be the presence of numbers of "late collisions" (unless connected to a _hub_ in which case the late collisions mean the network is too large)
