Build kernel failed

I use SAM to build kernel, it shows the delow message. Does anyone knows how to fix it. Thanks.




HP-9000 host 7410 build kernel fail:error massage
*******************************************************
cannot build a kernel using /usr/sbin/config. The standard
output of
the command is shown below:
sh: 3901 Bus error
Stop.
config: make did an exit(1)
*******************************************************
The command exitted with exitcode -71.

I'm pretty sure a command line build is going to fail too.

Two general possibilities come to mind:

1) Sam is broke and needs sam patches.

2) Files are missing from the /stand filesystem. You'll need to restore those from backup.

hi,

check the permissions of the files inside the stand mount point.howmuch space is free in this mount point.
