Built-in 100BASE-T PCI Card Configuration
We have a J2240 model workstation ( 9000 /782 model), which has a built-in PCI
Network card, It currently working in 10Mbps speed. When I try to change the
speed using lanadmin -S command I get an error no 22.
I have downloaded and installed latest patches for the HP site and yet the
speed cannot be changed. the card now says the Auto-negotiation is not been
enabled.
can someone help
Thanks in Advance ..

Re: Built-in 100BASE-T PCI Card Configuration
To set the speed of the card, reboot and interupt the boot process. at the
prompt, type 'co' for the configuration menu, then type 'lc' to see what speed
it is currently set for. to change it to 100, type "lc 100/Full_dx" or "lc
100/Half_dx" depending on your network configurations.

Re: Built-in 100BASE-T PCI Card Configuration
If you have loaded the latest lan and arpa patches, then the command you want
in:
lanadmin -X 100FD
lanadmin -x
will check the current settings. The NMID can be determined with the lanscan
command
