How to find out when a particular patch or bundle was installed /updated.

Hi

you need to use the sd-ux commands .

swlist - will give you the install base that you have install , include the bundles of the QPK .

swlist -l product - will give you all the products that you have install , include all patches .

swlist -l fileset - will give you all filesets that where install on your system .


also you can use the command show_patches to see the last patches that is install on your system .

To find out tzhe installation date and time use :

swinstall -a install_date

and youll get a list i.e.:

...
QPK1100 200309091818.49
...
PHSS_29140 200309181311.43
PHSS_29146 200309181318.01
...

i forgot one thing , if you want to check what product is include inside a bundle uoi can use the command :

swlist -s /product.depot

swlist -i

Select the patch/bundle and go to ACTIONS and do a SHOW DESCRIPTION.

If you have the ability to use X, then set your DISPLAY for the graphical version.

swlist -v -l product "product_name" Will give you all details like install date, install source, revision etc.
