Re: C++ / ANSIC
The ANSIC/C++ compilers are on the 11i applications CD's. You must use these versions not the 11.0 CD's. They are licensed apps so you will need codewords to install them.

SolutionThis is a licensed product (you need to pay for a license), so you won't be able to install it unless you have the correct keyword.
If you can't do that (ie management won't pay), then try using GCC (it's available for HP systems). Most stuff will compile with this without any problems.

Re: C++ / ANSIC
And We were using 11.00 with 8 user license. How to find the user license information in 11i. I have just installed 11i OE. Around 30 users will be accessing this machine. Whether i need to purchase user license also or i can use it as it is?

Re: C++ / ANSIC
Use "uname -l"
to find out the current user license.
Nowadays the default is unlimited user license.
Means no limit.
