You removed the Eval compiler completely before installing the real one?
Make sure there isn't anything in /opt/aCC/bin and /opt/aCC/lbin.

Re: C++ Installation Problems
Dennis,
I updated all the critical patches and application patches on my box and rebooted.
The compiler seems to be fine now. It compiles programs and does not show the message about the Eval version is ready to expire.
The /opt/aCC/bin and /opt/aCC/lbin dirs still have entries. Should I leave them there or delete them?
Appreciate the help!

Since it is working, you must leave them. That was how you could be sure your swremove worked.
