C3000 Workstation using HP-UX

I posted my question in workstation area but there 's noone answer so that I post new thread in this area. My question is
I have a C3000 workstation running HP-UX 10.30 and now I want to add one new FC card to PCI slot so that this workstation can connect to SAN environment.
When I read C3000 technical feature, it give out 6 optional PCI slots with following features:
- 1 PCI 4X:64 bit, 66MHz, primary graphic (full size, 3.3V)
- 2 PCI 1X:32 bit, 33MHz, (half size, 5V)
- 3 PCI 2X:64 bit, 33MHz, (full size, 5V)

Could anyone summarily explain the meaning of each slot type with specific parameters. And the most important thing I want to ask is what exactly part number of F/C card plug to what of these PCI slots above is so that this workstation can connect to SAN environment.
(except one graphic PCI because one visualize-EG/PCI card plugged to one PCI slot).

Need many help of yours,

Workstation docs:

Supported parts:

Its a workstation, I'm a server geek. But I'm wondering if a workstation is designed to connect to SAN's. Maybe.

Re: C3000 Workstation using HP-UX

Thanks SEP,

The link you gave is very good but unfortunately, it don't have part-number of F/C card. Would you have other sites to explore exactly part-number of F/C for C3000 workstation.

You have a good question, I want C3000 to connect directly to SAN because it installed Omniback cell manage and using DLT8000 Tape Libary to backup data in SAN but DLT connect F/C directly to only one node (2 nodes in one cluster). It will backup normally when package run on node1 but when package switch to node2, DLT will not backup data in DiskArray). You can bypass needing workstation connect F/C to SAN, the main purpose is how do I configure SAN environment so that DLT can backup properly when package switch to node2.
