Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
At a guess, you have put the monitor into the remote "dark site" console card, rather than the normal display card. try puuting it into the other card and see if anything happens. Are you using susi linux, by any chance?
The mouse and keyboard should work, once the monitor is in place.

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
# /opt/graphics/common/bin/graphinfo
allows you to display the current graphics configuration and the graphics drivers that are being used.
# /opt/graphics/common/bin/setmon
allows you to reconfigure the monitor type.
Could you post the info from the graphinfo command?

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
Then go to SAM -> display -> Xserver and adjust/delete the second screen (e.g. if there are 0.0 and 0.1, delete the 0.1 entry or adjust the "multi screen layout").
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
I will have to type what they have if it's not a lot of info. What's puizzling me is the monitor use to work but there was two and it's connected into the same card as it is now. Is it possible the system is looking for both monitor to be plug in?
When I run the setmon I get the following:
Entry Wdth Height HZ Font Desc
--- ---- ------ ---- ------- ------
1 1280 1024 75 10x20 VESA
2 1024 768 75 8x6 VESA
3 1600 1200 75 10x20 VESA
4 1600 1024 75 10x20
The current one selected is 3
Not sure if this is right....
The file is not present under: /opt/graphics/common/bin/graphinfo.
Anyway what else am I missing... Should I re-install the OS? I just like to get it working so I'm desperate...

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
Can you make these changes via the command lines and if so what are they so I can perform the command?

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
Screen /dev/crt
Do I still leave the following line:
SingleLogicalScreen 1 2
Or do I comment this line out. Anyway I have try it and the screen goes into never land still. I will remove the devices and re-install them. Now as I mention that this server once had the two monitor and they have a toggle switch to go back and forward from input 1 to input two. Not sure if this mean anything.

Re: C3600 Visualize Workstation with A1295A Monitor
For the mouse and keyboard it stated the following:
Keyboard:
- Universal Serial Bus (USB) keyboard, one
Mouse:
- Universal Serial Bus (USB) mouse, one
So I have a USB keyboard and I had to get a USB Sun mouse. The system is still not recognize the mouse so is there a way to connect?
