CA EVA Asyncronous replication with Metrocluster

Is it possible to run a metrocluster between two sites using an EVA 6000 with Continuous access in asyncronous replication mode?

If it is possible, what are peoples experiences with it?

currently we do not support CA/EVA using Asynchronous replication, only Synchronous
