CA Unicenter Implementation

Hi all,

I have a problem concerning the implementation of CA Unicenter on a MC/Serviceguard cluster. I have package1 (eg. oracle DB) running on box1 or box2. With the workload service of CA Unicenter, I would like to shutdown the database in package1. I have to specify the station or node where the job has to be launched. Here it comes!! Since I do not know where package1 is running, I should be able to set the node-id equal to the IP-address of the package. But this fails!!! When I submit the job (with node = box1) it works. Has somebody an idea how to solve this at the side of Unicenter? Otherwise I will launch the job on all unix-boxes and all (except 1) of them will run into error.

All usefull thoughts welcome.

Regards

Re: CA Unicenter Implementation

Hi,

Today I got a mail from CA where they say that Unicenter TNG Cluster Management Option Release 1.0 (Beta) is available.
