calculate the Load of RISC processor

Normally use a multiplier of 3 for Intel processor to calculate the Load. On HP-UX, which would be the best calculation?
Is there any documentation?

What exactly do you mean by "Load?"

What exactly are you trying to calculate?

We use the CA-Unicenter to monitor the server, it is equivalent to HP Openview.
For machines with Intel processors use the multiplier 3 per processor core.

Example:
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo.

The treshold to be alarmed at 4 (warning) and 6 (critical). Monitor the Load Average.
If there is any RISC processor calculation following the same logic?

I think it would just depend on the server, what you have running, and what is "normal" for that server.

You could have a load average of 2 and have the server be sluggish, or you could have a load average of 8 and have good performance.
