Can I ignite without installing coreOS
Or would that be called patching!
What I'd like to do is use the configuration files I have built for ignite and install just the software not the coreOS/Golden Image.
I don't want to test before I know it works..or not.
Thanks,
Bill

Re: Can I ignite without installing coreOS
Ignite is mostly a load all product, which is best used if a drive dies.
Now if you just want to load specific files or directories, then scripts could be made.

Re: Can I ignite without installing coreOS
Bill,
You would have to modify the configuration scripts to remove the installation of the coreOS junk, and build them just to install your software. Sounds like a simple thing. If you don't get another answer either way, I'll check into it Monday - It's my day off from work.
