can't find libcomp.sl
I'm installing Oracle 8.1.7 and it was attempting to link the executables when I received an error while executing the make command. After reviewing the logs I notice it couldn't find the libcomp.sl library. Does the HP Ansi C library come with the initial 11.0 media or is it something additional that we need to purchase.
I'm new to the HP arena so any assistance with installing the Ansi C library will be greatly appreciated.

Re: can't find libcomp.sl
I looked on my 11.00 server and found it at
/opt/langtools/lib/libcomp.sl
I have HP Ansi C installed which is an addon package (HP C/ANSI C Developer's Bundle. Part # B3899BA)
go to
http://www.software.hp.com/cgi-bin/swdepot_parser.cgi/cgi/displayProducts.pl?group_type=category&group_name=DTDC
you have two packages... one for workstation ($1100) and 3 for server ($1600 - 11,000)
