Can't get back to VM Host

We seem to be stuck on a VM guest when accessing the console of the VM Host. Just using the standard console we always use, but when exiting the VM Guests MP menu, I get the MP login for the VM Guest and I can't go further back to the VM Host no matter what keys I use. The server is a RX4640 running two VM guests.

Re: Can't get back to VM Host

Believe your tried

Ctrl+ x and Ctrl +b

but , what happens when you press those keys?
Is that guest hung?

are you able to telnet / do other operation.

Re: Can't get back to VM Host

Ctrl x and Ctrl b do nothing. No, the guest is fine, I can get on and do stuff. Can't use telnet, I need to get to the console of the VM Host to change the root password which has expired.

Re: Can't get back to VM Host

Hi,

I got this troulbe when I did my project on HPvm guest, and I come back to my host just via accessing my host MP card and issue tc command to go in my host console.

Re: Can't get back to VM Host

I shutdown the two VMs and still couldn't get to the VM Host. In the end the only thing that freed it up was hardbooting the VM Host. I could then access its MP and console.
