I receive the following error in my errorlog

I currently have the following perl & apache installed on my server :

# swlist |egrep -i "perl|apache"
hpuxwsApache A.2.0.53.00 HP-UX Apache-based Web Server
perl D.5.8.0.F Perl Programming Language

has anyone seen this error before, and how was it corrected ?

Whence perl

take the output of that command and do this:

/usr/contrib/bin/perl -v

You may have a different version of perl on your path thatn the one in sd/ux.

I once found perl v4 on /usr/contrib/bin and since that was first in the search path, thats where perl ran from. Until my customer wanted a perl v5 feature.
