can't "swlist -l product ....
ERROR: The expected depot or root does not exist at "/".
ERROR: There is currently no installed software on host "tuxtst03" at
location "/". (Note that you need to use "swlist -d" to
manage depot software).
Can anybody help me with this one?

Hi Jacques:
Verify that you have a directory named '/var/adm/sw' and files and direcotories (most notably '/var/adm/sw/products') beneath it.

What happens when you do the following?
# swlist -i
Are you able to see the depots registered?
