Can't read recovery tape contents
I am trying to clone a machine, so I made a makerecovery of the source machine, listed the contents on the tape with no problems and then I loaded that tape on the target machine.
There the problem begins, I can not list the contents of the tape (ERROR: Tar: blocksize = 4
directory checksum error), nor use it to install that image of course (the error says it is not a valid Ignite-UX source).
Both source and target drives are DDS4 and the tape is DDS3 (I initialized it on the source machine before creating the recovery tape).
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks,
R

Re: Can't read recovery tape contents
Thanks to you all but forget the question .... "they" where mounting the tape on the wrong (target) machine...it figures, it didn't followed logic. A trip to the local added logic to all this.
Thanks anyway
