Can't start SS7 Stack

I have downloaded the Debian Linux version of HP OpenCall SS7 SDK and installed successfully using the script install.sh

However, I am unable to start up the stack. I got this error message "ss7Start ERROR : Stack not started, check your configuration."

It seemed to be stuck at the line
/opt/HP-AIN//SS7/bin/ftcs.pl /etc/opt/HP-AIN/config//HA/ftc.conf

I am using the default ftc.conf and global.conf files provided. What is the cause of this error message ? And how to I workaround it?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Can't start SS7 Stack

Hi,

it seems to be a configuration problem. First of all you need to set up the hardware devices and then configure the physical path, it means the links.
File Tolerant Controller is just a programm to control the running processes. It is not your main problem. In default template is only 2 basic processes defined, and if there is no stack defined, these prosses can not be running. Then FTC send an Error, because these processes are missing!

Try to configure the hardware, define a stack and setup the links.

Hopefully it helps.
