Cancel kernel modify
I have a problem.
I have changed a kernel parameter but without applied it.
My current and planned from kmtune are :
maxfiles 1024 - 2048
nfile 7822 - 30000
Now i Want cancel a planned that a next reboot
will be applied.
Help me many point at all.

If you are running 11.23, then the change back to the old value will work. There is a warning displayed on the screen telling you that the previous modification has been effectively cleared:
* The automatic 'backup' configuration has been updated.
WARNING: The previous change of 'maxfiles' to '2048', which was being held until next boot, has been iscarded.
* The requested changes have been saved, and will take effect at the next boot.

Check the current and pending settings with
# kmtune
