Cannot allocate shared memory as 'max memory' limit of '563200' pages has been reached.

Hi,


I am trying to install a BMC ControlM application to our Itanium RX3600 with HP-UX 11.23 OS.

However we encountered the error below:

00:00000:00011:2009/01/28 15:33:26.42 kernel Cannot allocate shared memory as 'max memory' limit of '563200' pages has been reached. Please increase configuration parameter 'max memory' to allow additional shared memory allocation. Total physical memory allocated so far '563200' pages.

What is the TUNABLE name equivalent of this MaxMemory in KCWEB?

This appears to be shmmax. It seems you have it set to 2306867200.
