cannot boot from primary path (system panic)
hi,
i already replace boot disk (primary disk).before do that, i have reduce all logical volume and remove disk form vg00, than i mirror this new disk.
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol1 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol2 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol3 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol4 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol5 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol6 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol7 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol8 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>lvreduce -m 0 /dev/vg00/lvol9 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
root:/>vgreduce /dev/vg00 /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
than unpluged disk. after that, insert new disk and make mirror.
than make boot area in new disk
# mkboot /dev/dsk/c4t6d0
# mkboot -a "hpux (;0)/stand/vmunix" /dev/rdsk/c4t6d0
# lvlnboot -R /dev/vg00
# lvlnboot -v
# shutdown -ry 0
system can't be up and make system panic
