Cannot check, acc locked or not
hi all,
i used to use command /usr/lbin/getprpw to check whether the account is locked or not. however in some server i got feed back that System is not trusted. Any idea?

can't you just read plain English ? getprpw command questions the trusted user database. if your server is not trusted, how in the world you expect it to read files which are not there to begin with.

the instructions say "don't use a hammer". I have a hammer. how can I use a hammer?
sorry - couldn't resist that... anyway on a non-trusted system, to identify users with locked accounts run:
passwd -sa
any account which is locked will show LK in the 2nd field.
