My machine is on HP UX 11.11 9000/800, somebody accidently installed DCE_KT_TOOLS B11.00 on the server. CPU load raise up to 99%, I've removed the DCE_KT_TOOLS and now I can't load sam. Any ideas ??

The DCE install is causing the CPU load and the sam issue.
Loading the latest DCE patch will place the file back.

						hi,
i've actually copied the libdcekt.1 file from another machine with HP-UX v11.11i to the affected server, SAM seems to be running again.
just a point to note:
does this case affect any other part of the OS operations?
ie. MeasureWare?
I'm now facing this issue now where when I try to connect perf view to the server, I get this msg
"Could not connect to MeasureWare perflbd on ....."
