Re: Cannot send or receive email even telnet 25 and 110 are ok

Hi,

The HPUX server (sendmail) is not able to resolv the ipadress 192.168.1.103. If you set this in /etc/hosts you are able to use it.

I do not know if the PC has a static or dynamic ipadress. If its dynamic you could add the range (or set up dyndns)

Sorry, /etc/hosts related to this problem ? PC and server can ping to each other.

I wonder that I need to run /usr/newconfig/etc/mail/cf/cf/gen_cf with some option. But, I don't know which option that I should use. The email problem may be due to other that I do not know.

Re: Cannot send or receive email even telnet 25 and 110 are ok

My brain is near to explode. I begin to fall into a dark ocean. Can anyone help me ? I hope to give you the root password of my home server. You can do what u want to. I trust you guy. There is no business data. Could anyone give this Xmas gift to me ? If you have time, please email to tangk1@hotmail.com with your HP forum name. I hope you to telnet to my server. Although it is not a good way, there is only one way. Otherwise, I will fall to Linux and cry foreover. :-(
