Cannot un-install patch PHNE_28089 from HPUX 11i

Hi,
I tried to un-install the patch and replace it after with PHNE_25644 (cumulative ARPA Transport patch)...but error was encountered. pls. see attachment for check_patch.report

really appreciate a help here.

I think you should do this:

swinstall -x reinstall=true -s /tmp/PHNE_25644.depot \*

Make the location realistic.

If you don't have the patch, go out and get the patch.

swremove PHNE_28089 first if you can, You may need to force it.

Read the messages carefully. PHNE_28089 may have other patches installed that require it to be there.

In that case you are out of luck unless you want to identify dependencies and remove those patches as well.

Repeat three times after taking a deep breath.
