I can only see the build in BTLAN:
# ioscan -funC lan
Class I H/W Path Driver S/W State H/W Type Description
===================================================================
lan 0 0/0/0/0 btlan3 CLAIMED INTERFACE HP PCI 10/100Base-TX Core
/dev/diag/lan0 /dev/ether0
The server is a N-Class installed with 11.00. I would think i need to install something.
The server has been booted!

Re: cant see lancard
If you can figure out the harware address of it's slot that the lancard is installed in you can try to query on that using ioscan:
ioscan -fncH 1/12/0.... (fill in you own hardware address)
Regards,
Peter

SolutionI would guess you need to install:
J4253AA B.11.00.05 100BT/9000 PCI
It's on the application CDs (DART).
Best regards...
Dietmar.

Re: cant see lancard
Boot the system
Install all the appropriate software listed above
run the command insf -e
verify that the driver is in /etc/system
If not, add it and rebuild the kernel
mk_kernel
kmupdate
reboot
Good Luck
