cant su to oracle

I have a new box where I am not able to su - oracle... it doesn't change to the oracle home for starters...

However, i have another new box that su - oracle works on, both are npars on superdomes. I tried recreating it or copying .profile and /etc/profile from the other box but no to no avail.
