CDE customisation

For one of a user (not root )on a B2600 workstation:
In the File manager's File Menu,
he can create a
1. New File (say test )
2. After the file is created, on right clicking on the file test the menu which will appear has:

Change Permissions..
Put in WorkSpace
Put in Trash
Help
Open
Print

3. I want the Change Permissions..option to be masked out for this user.
Basically I want the user to prevent him from changing the file's attribute to execute permission

Re: CDE customisation

imho opinion I don't beleive I know of a way to achieve this but you'll know that from speaking to Sanjay ......

dtfile does have a -restricted resource see man dtfile, certainly Dtfile, sys.dtwmrc or man dtfile_config didn't suggest this would be possible so I suspect the drop down menu section is hard coded or if there is a resource it's not documented .....

I'd be interested to know if anyone has managed this without employing umask as a work-around ....
