CDE Style Manager Font Window

I need to change a users font size in CDE for use in ITO. He doesn't have access to the CDE Style Manager Font Window. I would like to change the size for this user only. What user specific configuration file does the CDE Style Manager Font Window change? And, what parameter do I need to change?

Thanks in advance.

Re: CDE Style Manager Font Window

If I were to change this in the /usr directory wouldn't the font be changed for everyone using that font? If I want to change the font size for one user how the Style manager font window does where would I make this change? Or am I off base and that is actually changing the files in /usr.

Re: CDE Style Manager Font Window

Hi Jason,

I have not tried this, but the possibility is that it makes changes in system wide. Invoke Style manager after logging as the specific user and look for font options.

The user profile will be in the $HOME directory - dtprofile.

Re: CDE Style Manager Font Window

Each user's home directory is having a folder called ".dt" where it stores user specific display settings.

Ex.
/home/peter/.dt
/home/peter/.dt/session/current.font/C

But i could not find the specific file which stores the current font.

As i know any user is allowed to chnage his desktop fonts using dtstyle (desktop style manager) that appears in his task bar(I tried it and i could change as a normal user).
