.cfs_resource - what is it?

I am running 10.20, and in my cahce directory for my automounting, there is a file called .cfs_resource and it is 39 meg - dated today, plus there are other directories that have no name coorelation to anything on either system. Names include: 000170c0 and 00022600 - these directories have a time stamp of almost a year ago in some cases.

Both machines were last re-booted yesterday morning.

What is .cfs_resource file? Whare are the directories, and do they need to be cleaned up?

Thanks in advance.

I think this is something to do with having cachefs in use with NFS.
You may want to check if you are using cachefs, and turn it off. I would hesitate to remove a file like that if it is currently in use.
