Solution
Should my telepathic abilities not betray me, I would suspect you need to know how to change the port on which your HPUX ftp server (which runs through inetd) accepts its connections.
Should all of the above be -exactly- right, I guess a simple edit of /etc/services will do. The OS will look up the port numbers for ftp and ftp-data in this file.
Otherwise I guess you should post a little bit more info about your needs ;-)
