Change oracle 9.2 database on cross-over ethernet to switch
What are the steps to change oracle 9.2 RAC database using LAN cable cross-over ethernet 100Mbps to have Switch after the VLAN is created

Toss out the X-over cable, and run two regular network cables to the new switch, one from each node?
Now the old connection was 100% isolated form the wild web and could use pretty much any address desired.
Depending on the switch settings the new connection might see the world and thus has to play by the rules.
Specifically you may want to assing 10.x.y.N addressed to each node if that's not the case already.
You coudl also start using dhcp, but that feels wrong for this purpose.
