Changing host and virtual ipaddress in service guard

Hi All

I'm new in service guard environment. Can anyone tell what are the steps to change ip address in servce guard environment?

1. Do you use ip addresses in the configuration??, If not, then stop cluster on the system, where you want to change system ip. (switch the packes to alternate node)

2. Change the system ip with /etc/set_parms ip_address command. Check it. nslookup on ip addresses and on hsotname.

3. Stop the package who's virtual ip you want to change. Make the changes to the ip address. You need to look at *.cntl file and also at *.conf file.

4. Apply the changes to alternate node. cmapplyconf -p "pkg" -n node1 -n node2

5. Start package and check failover too.
