Changing print server information for a configured printer...
I used to manage printers on old K class servers back in 1999 but seem to have forgotten how to change information about printer hosts. I have a printer that was configured to print from a certain host:
: waiting for rcbs025.rcb..com to come up
The problem is that 'rcbs025' has now changed to 'RCB00002'. What files do I need to change on the server to make the printer active again. I looked in the printer properties in SAM but changing that there wasn't an option.
Thanks.

Re: Changing print server information for a configured printer...
Your best option would be configuring a new print queue with new name.
Changing configuration to reflect would require configuring/modifying many files depending upon how it is configured.

Re: Changing print server information for a configured printer...
Look in t he /etc/lp/interface directory for the old printer. You will want to couple of changes besides renaming file. You also need to change certain values in files, EXAMPLE, PERIPH=
