Changing system console to virtual terminal

I would like to change the system terminal on our HP-UX 10.0 system to a virtual terminal. Is this possible? If so, How?

I'm not sure I understand what you want to do.

Are you wanting something you can access via network? Or are you wanting something like a central console for a bunch of machines?

HP does have the WebConsole that you can buy. I haven't played with it very much, but it does appear to have some good features and you can get to it via a browser.

If you want a central console for a bunch of machines, then there are quite a few companies that make that type of equipment.

If its the Web Console you want I can recommend it.
Have been using it on all our HP boxes and it works very good.
It's easy to configure and plugs right onto your console cable (instead of the physical console).
...and then you can access the system console from your comfy chair via the LAN...

I used the remote console on our L1000 for several months, but have gone back to the attached console. I have had two occaisions where my problems have been networking problems, and I couldn't access the L1000 using the web console from my PC.
