How to change the cluster log path .. say for example if we need the logs to accumulated in the /var/cl

Shalom,
The file controlling this is up to you. The Service Guard manual has a number of cookbooks, letting you set log location in your cluster configuration file, I usually name mine cluster.ascii or cluster.conf
You really might want to visit http://docs.hp.com and read a serviceguard configuration cookbook.

Serviceguard uses a special file, /etc/cmcluster.conf, to define the locations for configuration and log files within the HP-UX filesystem.
