Changing the color of SAM??
Hi all,
I would like to change the color of the SAM window when it opens as at present it opens with a dark blue background with black text, which can be pretty hard to see.
We use Reflection X to able us to use SAM on our desktops.
I know its only a small issue, but any advice would be grateful.
Regards
Craig

Re: Changing the color of SAM??
Try running hpterm or xterm or whatever window you use to type things with with the following arguments
hpterm -bg black -fg white
hpterm -bg black -fg white
Never preceed any demonstration with anything more predictive than "watch this"

Re: Changing the color of SAM??
Craig,
It sounds like you're running CDE and you'll need to modify your desktop color scheme. On your tool bar, you'll see an icon with an artist's palette on it. Click it and it will bring up the style manager - click on the color icon and it will bring up a window with different color pallete schemes which you can click on. These schemes will change all the colors in your desktop and you can experiment with different palettes until you find one that works better with SAM (the Default pallette works well for me).
Good luck,
Pete
