changing the default fontsize on a remote non-HP line printer

Greetings,

Back with another question, I've added a line printer to HP-UX as a remote printer because I couldn't add it as a network printer through JetDirect.
It works as it should, only the default font size is a bit small.
We have lots of scripts and programs that use this printer so adding the font size options in every print command would be a work of long breath.

When I look in /var/spool/lp/interface there's a "lp3" file (the printer I need to change the default font of) but I don't think this is the file I need to edit?
In /var/spool/lp/interface/model.orig there is no lp3 file because it is a remote printer.
I've found a few similar problems where this one was the closest to the one I'm having:
