Changing the IP Address of HIDS Administration System
I Have HIDS 4.3 and running in machine HP-UX 11.23
Previously the IP addresses of the administration systems had been changed,do I need to do any congiruation or steps to follow becouse now all agent is not available
please note that the administration system is not multihomed,REMOTEHOST entry in the ids.cf file located on the all agents systems is ovprod which is hostname, and the firewall port was configured to be open for new IP
so please anyone can advice?

Re: Changing the IP Address of HIDS Administration System
Can I assume that
Check the REMOTEHOST entry in the ids.cf file located on the agent systems. If the
REMOTEHOST entry refers to the hostname, no modifications are required. However, if the
REMOTEHOST entry refers to the IP address, then you must update the entry to reflect the
new IP address
IF this does not work.. Regenerate the agent keys on the management server and reconfigure the agent again with the new keys.
