Changing to 100MB Full Duplex on HPUX 11 with 4 port aggregation running

Hi All,

I have a server with a 4 port ethernet card on. This is configured with 4 port aggregation software (/etc/rc.config.d/hp_apaconf & hp_apaportconf)

When I run # lanadmin -x 0 it tells me that the port is running at 10MB Half Duplex. I want to change it to run 100MB Full Duplex. What files do I need to edit to change it?

Is it hpbase100conf or hpbtlanconf? Also is it only inetd that I need to restart to pick up these settings?

Thanks in advance,
Colin.

Hi Colin,

Are you sure that you have the right PPA for your 'lanadmin' command? A PPA of 0 doesn't sound right for aggregated cards. What does a 'lanscan -q' show you?

My Mistake! Sorry about that. They are already running at 100mb Full.

Cheers!
