Changing to a new Hardware Path on a ServieGuard Volume Group
Hi,
We are updating to new SAN switches. We currently run HP-UX 11.23 with ServiceGuard 11.17. On two separate change dates we will install the new SAN switches and the pathing to the ServiceGuard controlled volume group for the packages will change for each path one at a time. One path will reamin intact while the other will change. Can the new pathing be enabled for the package volume group while the ServiceGuard package is still up and running?
Any thoughts would be appreciated

Hi
This should bbe done in an offline manner so as to propagate the VG Path changes to all the nodes of the cluster.

Hi,
I forgot to mention that we have EMC Powerpath installed as a multipath solution on these Serviceguard servers.
