Re: character @ in netscape
Hi,
you can try also an workaround - type @ in a text editor window, then copy&paste in netscape window.

If it weren't for STRESS I'd have no energy at all

Re: character @ in netscape
Hi,
in your "netscape" directory you can find a textfile named "Netscape.ad". Copy that to "/usr/lib/X11/app-defaults/Netscape" (no ".ad" at the end).
Then edit it, and remove/comment-out the lines telling Netscape the meaning of "@" pressed together with "Alt" (or "Meta").
In germany we have to press "Alt-Q" to get the "@", so in our case I do have to remove four lines in there. They all instruct Netscape to "exit" when "Alt-Q" is pressed :-(
Which key-combination do you have to press to get "@"?
HTH,
Wodisch
