How do I check the OS image of a HP11 machine?

Maybe you mean things like installed software;
swlist -l bundle
or checking the filesystems;

too little info in ur question.
check out print_manifest, nickel outputs or swinstall.

Sorry for being inconsice with my question. I was referring to the version of the OS image, e.g, OS image 4.4.
swlist does not provide such information, I'm afraid.
Are there ways which I can check for the image?

Version info is usually;
uname -a
shows the HP-UX version info, eg. B.11.00
swlist -l bundle
shows the OS install software and its version number, eg;
HPUXEng64RT B.11.00.01 English HP-UX 64-bit Runtime Environment
This shows v 11.00.01 of the 64 bit runtime install of HP-UX version 11.00.01

i am not very sure still what you mean. is there some customized image with you are maintaing and asking about the same. is there some info in /var/opt/ignite or some where?
